Angie Nicholas
Finding My Place in the Body of Christ
Angie Nicholas is a wife of 1, mother of 6, recently became a mother-in-law of 2, and is a biology professor of hundreds. She spent a lot of years as a stay-home mom then went back to college in her 30s to get bachelor's and master's degrees in biology. From her study of God's creations she can confidently say like Alma that “all things denote there is a God.”
Angie's favorite calling is whichever one she is in, so right now being stake young women camp director and working with missionaries are the best callings in the Church. She teaches biology lectures and labs at Stephen F. Austin State University.
About this class
This workshop will use simple concepts from biology to help us better understand the analogy of being part of the Body of Christ, showing that even the smallest cells and molecules are vital to the whole body, just as each individual is vital to the Lord’s Kingdom.
