About this class
In a world filled with uncertainty, disappointment, and overwhelming demands, true and lasting peace can seem difficult to find. Yet, Jesus Christ offers a peace that is deeper than circumstances—a peace made possible through His infinite Atonement.
Symbolically, He extends an olive branch to all of us. The question becomes deeply personal: do we receive it and invite Him into our lives, or do we push His olive branch away and try to carry our burdens alone?
This interactive workshop explores how the Savior’s Atonement does more than forgive sins. His extended hands are proof that His sacrifice can help us heal broken hearts, strengthen us through trials, calm fear and anxiety, restore hope, and remind us of our eternal identity as beloved children of God. Through scripture, personal reflection, discussion, and practical application, participants will discover how to more fully access the enabling power of Jesus Christ in their everyday lives.
Together we will examine what it means to come unto Christ, surrender our burdens to Him, and experience the peace He promised: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you” (John 14:27). Participants will leave with renewed faith, practical tools for drawing closer to the Savior, and greater confidence that no matter what challenges they face, His grace is sufficient and His peace is available.
