Lori Mortensen was born and raised in beautiful Arizona, where she met her sweetheart Todd (thanks to their grandmothers!) The Mortensens have 4 daughters ages 8-20 and live in the greater NYC area. Lori has a bachelor's degree in communications from BYU and enjoys speaking and presenting. She is a performing arts teacher, a temple worker, a Spanish speaker, a Gospel lover, and a sports enthusiast. She has been a member of the United Nations Women's Guild for 14 years and currently represents Latter-day Saint Charities at the United Nations (Committee on the Status of Women). She is so grateful to be part of the United States Southwest Women's Conference!
About this class
“I know thee by name” were the comforting and eternally significant words the Lord gave Moses. It was true for the prophet of the Old Testament and it is true for each of us. We are each known and loved by name by our Heavenly Parents and Savior. Together we will consider how knowing this truth can bring covenant keeping strength and pure joy into our lives!
